Accounts Technician

The Redcastle Oceanfront, Golf and Spa Hotel requires a professional and personable individual to fill the role of Accounts Technician.

Full time/Permanent

Duties:
• Reporting to Financial Controller
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly revenue, wage and cost reports
• Maintain Sales Ledger including collection and posting of sales receipts & invoices.
• Maintain Purchase Ledger, including posting invoices, payments and monthly creditor’s reconciliations.
• Preparation and completion of the daily bank reconciliation
• Prepare weekly and monthly payroll
• Prepare and submit accurate monthly VAT and PAYE/PRSI returns
• Preparation of daily cash book.
• Other administrative duties as required

Qualifications/ Experience:
• A minimum of 2 years relevant accounting experience
• Accounting Qualification preferable
• Experience within the Hotel Industry preferable
• Analytical and logical approach to work
