Have you ever thought how much effort goes into planning every detail of a wedding? We have interviewed Nadean Cavanagh, Wedding Coordinator at Redcastle Hotel, to get the answer to this and many other questions related to nuptial planning. So, if you want to know how to get the perfect wedding, keep reading!
Nadean began managing weddings at Redcastle Hotel about 6 years ago, but her life has always been tied to this industry. For many years, she had organized events and fairs before engaging in this business completely. “I even modelled wedding dresses when I was younger!”, she says. It was fate.
Couples come through the hotel's doors many times while planning, but the wedding day is Nadean's favourite. “When I walk into a room and I know that is exactly what the bride and groom wanted and they are happy, I am happy”, she admits. She points out that you will always deal with the same person when organising your wedding and that this is one of the great things that makes Redcastle Hotel different from other venues. A familiar face is something brides and grooms really appreciate. So much that many couples have come to invite her to their wedding!
She is proud of her work but admits that the quality and efficiency of the other areas of the hotel really contribute to her success. The attention to detail of the staff is superb and the food is just excellent. According to Nadean, the two most important things every bride and groom should think about when it comes to their guests are "that they love the food and they dance all night!"
Of course, the location of Redcastle Hotel and its views over Lough Foyle had to be mentioned. “It’s so picturesque. I imagine a rustic wedding, so in trend now, with wild flowers and the sunset as a background… It would be so beautiful”. Agreed.
“On the Wedding Fayre, we are inviting you to imagine your perfect day”. You can see the Ocean Suite set up for a wedding, meet elite suppliers and service providers and enjoy the best live music!
