Considered the best Halloween festival in the world, Derry’s is indeed a celebration not to be missed. Running for over a week, from 26th October to 3rd November, they have in store countless activities and events for all tastes and ages. Some of the most anticipated are, undoubtedly, the Awakening of the Walls and the multitudinous Halloween Parade.

The Awakening of the Walls is a powerful visual show in which the historic Derry walls become the main stage from 28th to 30th October. With over 30 installations and performances from artists from all over the world, it is bound to leave everyone speechless. On 31st October all monsters, witches and other beings of the underworld will take to the streets of Derry to parade while being cheered by locals and tourist. Right after, the sky will be alight with the celebrated fireworks finale, a show of light and colour over the Foyle.
