Are you getting married this winter or looking for inspiration for your wedding? You're lucky! Today we bring you the biggest Winter Wedding Trends from real weddings at The Redcastle Hotel.
This winter there is a color palette that has stood out above any others and that looks like it will continue to reign for several more years: red and green, so characteristic of the season, are undoubtedly the most popular colours, along with purple.
Winter classic palettes with more neutral shades are still strong. Combined with gold and sparkling details - such as sequins, crystals and metallic elements, these colours and textures provide a wow factor to our Ocean Suite.
Fairylights are also enormously popular. Whether it's a wall or backdrop, a curtain, as centrepieces or throghout the room, they add that extra glow – completing your Winter wonderland atmosphere.
We’ve seen a variety of flower trends, but
berries are definitely in high demand. They add colour and spark a very christmassy feel. It's common to find berries decorating wedding cakes too, especially the extremely popular “
naked cakes”. The most popular wedding cake provider this year was
Kathleen Crossan.
Some other favourites are the photobooth, the flip flop baskets for guests, LED Letters and LED Dancefloor and the Sweetie Carts. Many couples have chosen not to have favours and donate to charity instead.
Each couple organises their big day according to their style and preferences, but there are always trends that are more popular than others. Which one is your favourite? Would you have any of these at your wedding?
