We have completed Fáilte Ireland’s Infection Prevention Control for Tourism Businesses programme which means that we are committed to follow the highest standards in health and safety measures to ensure you have an enjoyable stay in the hotel. This recognition also demonstrates that all our staff has completed hygiene and safety control training and that the hotel commits to take regular on-spot checks by health authorities.
Gerry McKeever, Head Concierge at The Redcastle Oceanfront Golf & Spa Hotel, tells us what to expect after the re-opening and explains some of the main processes we have put in place to make our guests’ stay safe and comfortable:
Throughout the hotel you will find loads of hand sanitiser units, please use them often. Visible markings will guide you safely in the hotel lobby, and our colleagues will observe social distancing whilst checking you in and out, please adhere to our one way system. Face Masks must be worn in all public areas except when consuming food and beverages.
On check-in, you will be provided with a welcome pack which contains details about the hotel and your sanitised keys for your room. No signature is required, in order to assist with a speedy check-in for all guests. On the way out, just leave your keys in the express check-out box.
We have added a sticker seal that would indicate to guests that no one had entered the room since it was deep-cleaned and sanitised. In compliance with the new regulations, we have removed all crockery and have replaced it with disposable compostable items. You’ll find paper cups and glasses and recyclable bottles.
