At the Redcastle Hotel, we want the festive season to be merry for everyone; that is why we have launched the campaign ‘You Buy, We Donate’.
It’s the run-up to
Christmas and the search for the perfect gift begins. The Redcastle Hotel offers a
wide selection of gift vouchers to surprise your nearest and dearest. In addition,
the hotel will donate €1 to Hughie's Corner for each voucher sold in November.
Hughie’s Corner Child and Adolescent Therapeutic Centre was nominated by hotel guests to be the Redcastle Hotel's sponsored Charity of the Year 2021. The centre provides counselling and play therapy for children aged 5 to 17-year-olds.
Hughie’s Corner was set up in memory of eight-year-old Hugh Simpson-Callaghan, who passed away in 2011.
The charity’s Fundraising Committee is a voluntary group of people from all over Inishowen who care about children’s mental health and wellbeing. They currently operate one day a week in Buncrana and Carndonagh.
