Meet Santa at Redcastle’s Santa Sunday Lunch
Bring the family together for a Sunday lunch with an extra-special guest this December.
Our Santa Sunday Lunch takes place on Sunday 6th, 13th and 20th December 2026, with lunch served from 12.30pm to 3pm.
Enjoy a three-course plated lunch followed by tea or coffee, while younger guests can choose from our children’s menu. The highlight for little ones? A complimentary visit to Santa, where they can deliver their Christmas letter in person and receive a free gift.

Discover Donegal’s Lapland
For a Christmas outing full of anticipation, plan a visit to Donegal’s Lapland at Doagh Famine Village, near Ballyliffin.
The experience begins with a live Christmas show featuring music, elves and Santa’s arrival down the chimney. Afterwards, families can explore Santa’s Village and Toy Factory, where children can choose their own Christmas present. There’s also an opportunity to capture a family photograph with Santa.

Make Time for a Christmas Pantomime
A family trip to the panto is a Christmas tradition worth making time for. This year, The Grove Theatre Group presents Aladdin at St Columb’s Hall in Derry, with performances on selected dates from 11th to 20th December 2026.
Expect festive entertainment, laughter and plenty of opportunities for the children to join in. Choose a performance to suit your stay and make it part of your Christmas adventure.

Christmas Day brings breakfast, followed by our Grand Carved Christmas Buffet Lunch in the Ocean Suite, with sparkling wine on arrival. Later, enjoy a festive Christmas Night Buffet Supper before retiring for the evening.
Finish your stay with a full Irish breakfast on St. Stephen’s Day before departure.
Arrive on Christmas Day: 25th–27th December
Arrive for our Grand Carved Christmas Buffet Lunch in the Ocean Suite, with sparkling wine on arrival, followed by a festive buffet supper that evening.
On St. Stephen’s Day, enjoy a full Irish breakfast, an afternoon Magic Show from 3pm to 5pm, a table d’hôte evening meal at The Edge Restaurant and Christmas movie time at The Deck Cinema.
